Southwest Nut Company built our plant from the ground up, based on the best practices gathered from decades of pecan processing experience.
Our state-of-the-art, ergonomically designed plant ensures greater food safety and allows for a very low cost operation. Combined with good manufacturing processes, high-tech equipment, effective training practices and decades of experience, SNC is in the enviable position of being an efficiently run business. In addition, our plant is strategically located close to growing centers, allowing for lower freight costs.
Our food-grade facility is located in Fabens, Texas, on a 27-acre site. Our plant consists of 35,000 square feet of pecan processing. We have 10,000 square feet dedicated to roasting, high-specifications and value added production. We also have an on-site refrigerated warehouse totaling 50,000 square feet, to protect product freshness.
Our plant features many upgrades specifically for nut processing, which help ensure food safety.
